The last years of the TJ platform — including the LJ Unlimited that debuted in 2004. Same seat dimensions as the early TJ, different wheelbase.
The 2003 TJ is mechanically identical to the 1997–2002. In 2004, Jeep introduced the LJ Unlimited — a stretched wheelbase version with a longer body and more rear cargo space, but the same front and rear seat dimensions as the standard TJ. TJ-specific covers fit both without modification.
Neither the TJ nor LJ came with side airbags on any trim in these years, so airbag compatibility is not a concern. If you're replacing covers on a high-mileage LJ, seat foam wear is common — worth inspecting before covering.
